The Party

This movement is international in scope, we see no reason to exclude membership to UK citizens - everyone across the globe is welcome. We also welcome collaboration in order to create partner parties in other regions (e.g. US or fellow European countries).

Constitution

Officers: - Leader - Treasurer - Nominating

Submit as constitution:

• Party’s aims and objectives
• That one of your objectives is to stand candidates at elections
• The structure of your party - for ex. if you have branches or accounting units
• How the party is run - for ex. frequency, timing and type of meetings, the quorum for meetings and how decisions are made what officers you have and what their responsibilities are
• Any membership requirements

Also need:

• Up to 12 party descriptions (to be used on ballot papers)
• Up to 3 emblems

Although we believe that the entire political system needs to be shaken up, we recognize that this is not an overnight process. As a starting point we will be setting up a party in the UK to contest local, regional and national elections, we also plan to create partner parties in any countries with interested members. However the goal is not to govern using these parties.

UK Party

In order to comply with Electoral Commission rules, initially the leader of the party (and treasurer) will be myself, with … as nominating officer. We will accept candidate proposals from any members.

Our meetings will be online initially, moving to local face-face meetings as appropriate. Most discussion is likely to be in the form of online forums.

The goals of the party are to uphold the values of the manifesto, so we will likely have different specific election goals in different areas.
